Mac Repair House has been a sole-proprietor, one-woman shop since 1987. I service home, small business, and corporate clients. The majority of my clients are in the music and entertainment industry and come mostly by the way of referrals. I am animal friendly, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, birds, etc.

My introduction to Macs was in the music industry, my main profession since the 70's. I was trained and certificated with an authorized Apple dealer, working part time as a Pro-audio/Mac consultant in one of L.A.'s busiest music stores, selling Apple computers and pro-audio gear during the day and at night performing, then in the after hours composing music via midi software on my Mac Plus/SE computers.

When midi technology and music software apps were designed in the 80's, Macs were, and still are, the computer of choice for working professionals not only in the music biz, but the entire entertainment industry. So I am a true Mac fanatic and at one time had my own Mac museum of every model on the market until 15 years ago. No longer a regular collector, but still have machines to cater to longtime clients that need old program data converted to the newer formatted operating systems and software.

Having a "techie" background in recording studios and on stage with my own gear, my peers began requiring my expertise in the wee hours of the night to repair their computers and keep them going and in sync during recording sessions and pre and post-production projects.

I am currently also the co-owner of a multi-media and music production company, offering music, audio, video, web design, digital editing, pre and post production services, music and pro-audio instruction, music master classes, music arranging and orchestration, music prep, analog/digital recording, and tape transfer services. So I understand deadlines, emergencies, and "time and cost" budgets.

I have over 35 years of professional experience with all Mac operating systems, hardware, and software applications ... plus over 40 yrs. of computer experience with DOS and Unix environments, PC/Windows, & mini and mainframe Computer Operations work from my college days. This lends a hand to Mac users with dual or multi platforms, as well as Mac based corporate environments that might typically have their accounting departments on PC computers.
